Volunteer Type

ORGANIZING COSTUMES – If you love to organize, we’ve got a huge closet that could use your skills. Enjoy sorting, folding, hanging costume pieces in our over-sized closet! Age 16 and up.

GRANT WRITING – If you enjoy writing, and have written grants before, we have several opportunities coming up to write grants with us. Interested in learning more? Let’s talk.

WORK SHOP – We have a big one, and it needs someone who can organize materials, tools and supplies before, during and after our shows. If you enjoy puttering around, this is a great chance for you to “adopt us” as your personal shop and labor of love. We have lumber, old furniture, and equipment needing your help. Age 18 and up.

CONSTRUCTION – If you know how, or want to learn, we have simple building projects that come up with every show (and sometimes in between.)  It doesn’t require perfection – (that’s the beauty of  it) Very basic skills are SO much appreciated.  Come saw, drill, and create some really cool set pieces.  Age 18 and up.

COSTUME DESIGN – If you have a creative streak a mile wide, and have always wanted to design clothing here’s your chance to unleash your inner “design-diva.”  We have upcoming shows which don’t yet have a costume designer – we’re waiting to hear from YOU!

SCENIC ARTISTS – Create amazing trees, faux finishes, castle walls, and period decor as part of our scenery.  Enjoy an outlet for your painting, creative and design skills.

LIGHTING & EFFECTS – Lighting sets the mood, creates the magic, and defines how a scene will feel.  If you have a sense of atmosphere, and you’d like to learn how, we have a team of tech gurus who can help you (or you can help us) on our next show.

MARKETING TEAM – Design posters, fliers, and community events – including promoting our shows.  If you want to work on one show, or many, we’re ready to hear your ideas for crowd funding, silent auction, social media, program books, website site, Facebook, Twitter and more.  Help us with our marketing & have a great time doing it.  Join us!

BOX OFFICE or CONCESSIONS – Greet our patrons with a smile at the box office, and be part of the team that makes refreshments available to our audiences. Box office requires some basic computer skills – we’ll show you how.  Concessions includes making popcorn, and sometimes preparing or plating food, serving wine at our various venues.
